History of Revotec
Revotec was formed in 1997 by William Bartlett, who’s background in engineering and automotive electronics progressed Revotec from it’s single product beginnings to present day.
Seeing an opportunity to adapt an OEM’s product to a universal market led to the development of Revotec’ s first product, the gauge mount. Requests to change and adapt the product for different suitability’s left a requirement for supporting accessories which were then designed and manufactured.
Fitting a poorly designed universal fan kit to a Land Rover, William discovered the opportunity to develop a vehicle specific tailored fitting cooling kit. Engineering brackets to suit without having to make permanent modifications to the vehicle. This led onto the adaption of one of Revotec’ s early products the hose adaptor, which was transformed into the first electronic fan controller, Revotec’ s most popular product today. The need to find a high quality cooling fan to complement Revotec’ s new kit after some trial and error was found in COMEX cooling fans, later becoming COMEX’s UK distributor and stockists.
Soon followed more automotive cooling related products, customer requirements to solve a cooling issue ,the first brake cooling duct was created and displayed at a vehicle trade show, it proved so popular that the sample was stolen from the stand. Supporting products for almost every new product created has resulted in our growing current catalogue of parts.
